Free Rangers Club Campaign: Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

Welcome to the Free Rangers Club campaign, proudly presented by Free Bird. This exciting 12-week initiative offers our valued customers the chance to win exclusive apparel and even the chance to drive a Ford Ranger for a period of 1 year. The campaign commences on April 7th, 2026.

2. Campaign Duration

The Free Rangers Club campaign will officially begin on Tuesday, April 7th, 2026, and will conclude on Monday, June 29th, 2026 when the last store closes for trade. All badges must be scanned and submitted by midnight on Monday, the 29^th June 2026.  All entries and qualifying purchases must be made within this period. The chief ranger will be announced on or before the 12^th July 2026, depending on the final event.

3. Eligibility

Participation in the Free Rangers Club campaign is open to all customers aged 18 years and over, residing in South Africa and in possession of a valid form of identification (South African Identity Document or Passport). All participants must be natural persons; legal entities cannot participate in this competition and no prize/s will be awarded to any legal entities. The winner needs to have a valid South African driving license.

3.1 Exclusions

The following individuals are not eligible to participate in or win any prizes associated with this campaign:

• All employees of Free Bird and its holding companies.
• Immediate family members of Free Bird employees (including spouses, parents, children, and siblings).
• Employees and immediate family members of any advertising, promotional, or fulfilment agencies associated with this campaign.
• Franchisees of Free Bird and their immediate family members.

4. Campaign Tiers and Prizes

The Free Rangers Club campaign is structured into three distinct tiers, each offering unique opportunities to win:

4.1 Tier 1: Weekly Apparel Wins

• Qualification: To enter the weekly prize draw, customers must purchase any burger or Freebox from Free Bird.
• Entry Mechanism: Following your qualifying purchase, you must complete the designated weekly prize entry form (Complete name and cellphone number on the back of the till slip). The entry box can be found at each store. For any further info please visit www.freebird.co.za
• Prize: Each week, selected entrants will have the chance to win exclusive apparel branded by Float.
• Draws: Weekly prize draws will be conducted weekly throughout the campaign duration. Winners will be notified via phone and listed on the Free Bird website and socials.

4.2 Tier 2: Customised Apparel Draw

• Qualification: To qualify for this tier, customers must make purchases at seven (7) out of the nine (9) available Free Bird locations.
• Entry Mechanism: Upon completing purchases at seven distinct locations, customers must successfully collect and complete all designated “badges” associated with these visits. Please visit the Free Bird Instagram page and see the link in the bio for the Free Rangers Club.
• Prize: Fully qualified participants will be entered into a draw for a chance to win bespoke, customised apparel designed by Sumari Ferai.
• Draw: A draw will take place at the conclusion of the campaign, with winner being contacted directly.

4.3 Tier 3: Become the Chief Free Ranger

• Qualification: To be eligible for this ultimate prize, customers must make purchases across all nine (9) of the nine (9) available Free Bird channels. This includes visits to the physical store locations (7) and purchases made through Uber Eats and Mr D.
• Entry Mechanism: Successful completion of purchases across all nine channels, as verified by Free Bird’s tracking system (see link in bio of the Free Bird Instagram account or scan QR code in-store), will automatically enter the customer into the draw.
• Prize: The grand prize winner will be crowned the “Chief Free Ranger” and will receive the opportunity to drive a Ford Ranger for a period of one (1) year.
• Draw: The grand prize draw will occur following the conclusion of the campaign. The winner will be personally contacted to arrange prize fulfilment. To qualify as a winner the, person has to have a valid South African drivers license.

5. Prize Redemption and Fulfilment

All prizes are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and cannot be redeemed for cash or any other alternative. Winners will be contacted by Free Bird or its appointed representatives to arrange for prize collection or delivery. Specific details regarding prize redemption will be provided to each winner individually. Free Bird reserves the right to substitute any prize with an alternative of equal or greater value should the original prize become unavailable for any reason.

6. Data Privacy

By participating in the Free Rangers Club campaign, entrants consent to Free Bird collecting and using their personal information (such as name, contact details) for the purposes of administering the campaign, including contacting winners and verifying eligibility.

7. General Conditions

• Free Bird reserves the right to amend, suspend, or terminate the Free Rangers Club campaign at any time without prior notice.
• Free Bird reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who violates these terms and conditions or engages in fraudulent or deceptive practices.
• By participating, all entrants agree to release and hold harmless Free Bird, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any and all liability, claims, and damages arising out of or in connection with their participation in the campaign and the acceptance and use of any prize.
